Does the plate come with a stand?

No. Plates ship with adhesive backing so you can mount them on a counter front or a wall. The stand is for when you would rather place the plate than stick it, or move it between spots.

Will it hold on a busy counter?

It is bent steel wire with a matte black powder coating, so it is light but rigid. The plate sits low on two ball tips and leans back against the frame, which keeps its weight over the base rather than in front of it.

Can I use one stand for several plates?

It holds one plate at a time. If you swap the plate, the stand takes the new one without any adjustment.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the wire with a damp cloth. The powder coating does not need anything else.
